Vashti Wyatt

Senior Associate

Bristol

Vashti trained with Davies Arnold Cooper Solicitors (now DAC Beachcroft), qualifying in October 2002. Following qualification, Vashti undertook a mixture of healthcare regulatory work for various regulatory bodies and Defendant clinical negligence.

With this background she then gained experience in various London firms in professional liability. Vashti previously worked in the London office of Beale & Co before relocating to Bristol. Vashti re-joined the Bristol office of Beale & Co in June 2017.

Vashti now undertakes professional negligence, which involves advising professional indemnity Insurers and their professional clients in respect of negligence claims. She advises a range of professionals including solicitors, barristers, accountants, surveyors, and architects.

Her advice covers all aspects of the dispute resolution and litigation process, including in respect of alternative dispute resolution such as mediation.

She has also acted for insurers in insurance policy coverage matters including those arising from dishonesty, late notification and non disclosure.

In the course of her position she has written a number of articles on legal updates and case law and has given talks to insurers on changes to the law.
